Sales Administrator Role Purpose
This is a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for both customers and internal teams. You will sit at the heart of our sales and customer service function, supporting order processing, customer communication, and internal coordination.
Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone with strong administration or customer service experience who is looking to develop their career within a purpose-led business.
Sales Administrator Key Responsibilities
* Receive and enter customer orders via email, phone, EDI, or website
* Check orders, send acknowledgements, and process them through to invoicing and dispatch
* Handle order queries, delivery issues, and stock requests via phone and email
* Support account managers with customer follow-up and administrative tasks
* Liaise with production, planning, and despatch teams to ensure customer requirements are met
* Maintain accurate records
* Run order and sales reports
* Support general sales administration activities

Sales Administrator Preferred Knowledge and Experience
* Previous customer service or administrative experience
* Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Minimum of Grade 4 in Maths and English GCSE (or Grade C equivalent)
