Sales Account Manager The Opportunity We are working with one of Manchesters premier events venues to recruit a Sales Account Manager with a focus on attracting corporate business to the venue. The venue is renowned for hosting a broad spectrum of events from industry conferences to sports functions. The Role The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining current licence fee revenues and attracting new business to the venue, contributing to both team and individual targets. Key responsibilities will include: Meet and exceed all agreed sales targets. Manage the full cycle of sales from enquiry to contract negotiation and close, by selling bespoke packages that meet client objectives Prepare high-quality proposals, quotations and contracts in line with pricing and commercial guidelines. Conduct regular account reviews to identify growth opportunities and upsell additional services Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and partners - both new and existing Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the corporate sector Maintain accurate customer records within internal CRM system, ensuring clear visibility of pipeline and client activity Collaborate with internal teams, providing accurate event briefs and comprehensive handovers to support seamless event delivery Organise and attend client meetings, both internally and externally, including national and international travel, where required. Represent the venue at industry events, exhibitions, and networking events Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, The Candidate We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager ready to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. Able to work independently and collaboratively, driven to succeed. You will bring: A proven track record of success in targeting and winning new business An understanding of CRM and sales reporting systems Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills A strategic mindset with the ability to balance commercial goals with client needs An understanding of events operations Package: Salary £34,000 Bonus Sound great?
