Land Agent / Rural Surveyor - Leicestershire

Our client is a well-established rural surveying and estate management practice with a strong presence across the East Midlands and beyond. They're seeking an experienced Land Agent or Rural Surveyor to join their growing team and deliver expert advice to a diverse client base across agricultural, commercial and residential property sectors.

Position Overview

You'll build and maintain strong client relationships whilst providing professional advice on rural property, agricultural tenancies and land use. Your role will involve conducting detailed valuations, advising on compulsory purchase and compensation matters, and supporting infrastructure project delivery across the region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships across rural property sectors
• Conduct accurate valuations on agricultural land and rural properties
• Advise clients on agricultural tenancies and land use planning
• Provide expert guidance on compulsory purchase and compensation matters
• Support rural planning and development advice to clients
• Facilitate infrastructure project delivery and completion
• Assist the land agency team with farm agency work

Requirements

• MRICS and CAAV professional qualifications
• 3 to 6 years post-qualification experience in rural surveying
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation and relationship-building abilities
• Full UK driving licence
