Due to team expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified rural surveyor to join a well-respected Consultancy Team.
 
You’ll be responsible for valuation and consultancy work across Yorkshire, Cumbria and the North East for a range of rural and prime residential assets.
 
You’ll be based out of their York office, and your focus will be in the following areas:

• Valuations for a range of purposes including; loan security, taxation, probate and estate planning.
• Consultancy work including landlord and tenant matters, for a mixture of rural, commercial and residential properties.
• Wining new instructions from banks, solicitors, accountants and private clients.
• Application of basic tax law.
• Negotiation.

Key skills required for the role:

• MRICS qualified.
• RICS registered valuer.
• Excellent numerate, analytical and technical skills.
• Ability to produce. high quality written reports, including Red Book valuations.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own time.
• Have an innate curiosity and be eager to experiment, push boundaries of what is possible and deliver efficiency in addition to effectiveness.
• Driving licence.
