The Role
\n
Reporting into a talented VP of Revenue Assurance, this Royalty Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of royalty revenue reporting. You'll work closely with colleagues across data, investment, and rights management to support internal reporting and royalty income validation- contributing directly to the financial health and performance of the company.

Your day-to-day will involve reviewing third-party royalty statements, analysing data sets for accuracy, and preparing key reporting inputs to support internal stakeholders and senior management.
\n
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves working with numbers and music in equal measure. The right person will be highly organised, with a sharp eye for detail, great communication skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of data in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities

Support the preparation of internal reporting deliverables, including inputs to monthly management accounts
\n
Review, validate, and interpret third-party royalty statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy
\n
Analyse large data sets with precision, flagging inconsistencies and resolving discrepancies
\n
Maintain robust tracking of income streams across multiple revenue sources and partners
\n
Collaborate with the rights, data, and investment teams to ensure accurate income recognition and reporting
\n
Liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to resolve data queries and clarify reporting gaps
\n
Assist with internal audits and reconciliations of royalty income and usage reports
\n
Maintain and organise internal files, reports, and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness
\n
Continuously look for opportunities to improve internal processes and reporting efficiency
\n
Support the finance and accounting teams with ad hoc reporting, data reviews, and special projects
\n
\n
What We Need to See (Essential)

Previous experience in a royalty accounting or music finance role
\n
A massive passion for the music industry!
\n
\n
What We'd Like to See (Bonus/Non-Essential)
\n
\n
Previous experience in a strategy role within the Music industry
\n
\n
Package: £40,000-£50,000
\n
Working Pattern: 3 days in-office, 2 days' work from home
\n
Ideal Start: ASAP-1 month notice
