MZ Talent Group is recruiting a Nursery Room Leader on behalf of a brand-new nursery scheduled to open in September 2026 in NW London, United Kingdom.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to help shape a new setting focused on high-quality childcare and education through the EYFS framework supported by Montessori principles.

The nursery aims to create a calm and structured learning environment where children are encouraged to develop independence, curiosity, and confidence through purposeful play and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities.

. Lead and manage the 3+ room, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and Montessori-informed practice.

. Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences aligned with EYFS requirements and Montessori philosophy.

. Maintain a well-prepared learning environment that supports independence, exploration, and child-led learning.

. Monitor children’s development through observations, assessments, and learning records.

. Act as a key person for a group of children, supporting their emotional wellbeing and development.

. Support and guide other practitioners within the room, promoting consistent and high-quality practice.

. Build strong relationships with parents and families, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.

. Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.

Requirements.

. Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).

. Montessori Diploma (essential).

. Previous Room Leader experience preferred.

. Minimum 5 years Early Years experience.

. Right to Work in the UK.

. Strong understanding of child development and early years practice.

. Familiarity with Islamic values welcomed.
