THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a desk-based role. We’re looking for a hands‑on Roofing Site Manager to oversee works across multiple sites within the South West, delivering planned and reactive roofing works within social housing. You’ll be managing a mix of direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will spend the majority of your time out on site, with occasional days in the Exeter office for admin and reporting. THE ROLE

Manage day‑to‑day roofing site operations across multiple projects Oversee pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems Supervise roofing teams and subcontractors Ensure full Health & Safety compliance (RAMS, site standards) Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams Problem‑solve on site including materials, labour, and delivery challenges Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines Travel between sites across the South West

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience as a Roofing Site Manager or Roofing Supervisor Strong technical knowledge of pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems Experience within social housing, planned works, or maintenance SMSTS qualification (essential) First Aid qualification Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations Full UK driving licence Comfortable working in a field‑based role with travel
