Duties:
  • Respond promptly to roadside breakdown assistance requests across Cardiff and the surrounding region as a dedicated Roadside Vehicle Technician
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues in various makes and models
  • Work independently in a fully equipped company van, providing on-the-spot solutions
  • Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, repaired, and ready to safely continue their journey
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, especially when assisting distressed clients
  • Manage your workload methodically and independently, demonstrating organisation and reliability
  • Comply with shift patterns, typically between 6:00am-12:00pm, with a maximum of 1 in 2 weekends, offering days off during the week if you work on weekends
Candidate Specification:
  • Qualified at least to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills across a variety of vehicle types, from city cars to 4x4s
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Able to work independently and methodically
  • Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality to represent our client positively
  • Resilient and able to assist customers in high-pressure or distressing situations
  • Organisation skills to effectively manage on-road tasks and workload
