Cartan Trade is currently recruiting for a Risk Underwriter to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be part of the Northern Europe Risk team, underwriting UK and export risks with the view to supporting Cartan Trade’s profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

Underwriting credit limits for clients and prospects, for whole turnover, top up or single risk enquiries Analysing both public and private information about companies to set internal risk assessment & risk strategy Meeting with buyers to collect financial and non-financial information Attending meetings with brokers, prospects and clients Contributing to the proactive monitoring of credit limits and sensitive buyers Regularly liaise with the Commercial teams to discuss specific credit limits or buyers
