An established and growing financial services firm is seeking a highly capable Risk Transformation Manager at Vice President level. This role is central to managing the Risk Department’s contribution to firm-wide transformation projects, including business acquisitions and new product launches. Reporting to the Head of Change and Transformation Risk, you will play a key role in ensuring new initiatives are delivered in a risk-controlled manner and that the department remains aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Risk lead for enterprise-wide change initiatives and business integrations
- Lead stakeholder engagement across risk and non-risk functions to assess and manage potential risks
- Run the Risk Change Portfolio Focus Group, overseeing project delivery and prioritisation
- Coordinate the Risk workstream for acquisition integrations, from scoping through to execution
- Deliver regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive committees on risk project progress
- Maintain oversight of the risk change portfolio, aligning departmental resources and activities
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and risk control
- Ensure appropriate governance, documentation, and regulatory compliance across all change activity
- Engage with internal functions and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions into BAU
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in risk management, change, or project management within financial services
- Strong understanding of both financial and non-financial risk concepts
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive-level stakeholders
- Clear communicator with strong presentation and reporting skills
- Highly organised, delivery-focused, and able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- Experience engaging with regulators and internal audit is desirable
- Familiarity with tools such as Power BI would be advantageous
