An experienced Risk Manager is required to support a highly sensitive, large-scale infrastructure programme. The role provides end-to-end ownership of risk management across a defined workstream, ensuring threats and opportunities are identified, assessed and managed to protect delivery outcomes. The postholder will work closely with senior stakeholders and parallel risk leads to maintain alignment across the wider programme. The programme operates within a complex, live operational environment with multiple interdependencies and strict delivery constraints. The successful candidate will be comfortable working at pace, applying structured risk management techniques while maintaining focus on programme objectives. Key responsibilities Own and maintain the risk profile for a defined workstream or tranche within a wider programme, ensuring alignment with overall programme risk strategy
Plan and lead regular risk review sessions, including facilitation of workshops, documentation of outputs and production of routine risk reporting and dashboards
Maintain a live risk and opportunity register, ensuring risks are clearly articulated, proportionate and actively managed
