Our client, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Risk Manager to help redesign and embed supplier risk processes across their group. Contract Details
Contract Length: until February 2026 (with visibility to extend)
Location: London (hybrid – three time per week on-site)
Daily Rate: £550 per day (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement supplier risk management frameworks and governance policies.
Conduct supplier risk assessments across the full lifecycle using internal and external tools.
Monitor emerging risks and market trends, issuing alerts and reporting to governance forums.
Provide insights and best practices to integrate risk controls into sourcing and contracting processes.
Engage with industry forums and working groups to stay ahead of trends and raise the organisation’s profile.
Analyse supplier data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to build a culture of resilience.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain risk management, ideally in a large corporate or consultancy setting.
Strong understanding of EU regulations and supplier risk certification schemes.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; experience with risk platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Moody’s, D&B) is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
Self-starter with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
