Risk Manager – Major Infrastructure Programme
Location: London | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Rate: £550/day | Inside IR35
Duration: Contract | Full Time
Take a strategic contract role on one of the UK’s most ambitious transportation programmes. Join a leading consultancy-style project controls team, fully embedded within the client environment, delivering nationally significant infrastructure. This is ideal for experienced Risk Managers with strong QRA and Monte Carlo risk experience.
What You’ll Do
Lead qualitative and quantitative risk management across multiple workstreams Facilitate risk workshops and maintain risk registers aligned to programme objectives Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or equivalent tools Apply Monte Carlo simulation and integrated cost/schedule risk techniques to inform programme decisions Produce reporting, dashboards (Power BI), and scenario modelling for senior stakeholders Advise client stakeholders and support governance processes Collaborate across planning, commercial, and delivery teams to embed best practice
What You Bring
Proven experience in risk management on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects Strong capability in QRA, Monte Carlo simulation, and integrated cost/schedule risk Proficiency with industry-standard risk tools (ARM, @Risk, PRA, Safran Risk, etc.) Confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and lead discussions Structured, data-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement
