Our client is continuing to grow their Data Link Systems organisation, delivering a world‑leading missile data link capability. There are several exciting opportunities within the Data Link Systems team, covering the full product lifecycle - from research and early concept development through to full product design and production. Roles are available for engineers at a range of experience levels, from graduate through to senior and technical lead positions.
Salary: up to £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 2 to 5 days per week on‑site depending on workload
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
All successful candidates will be required to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

As part of the Data Link Systems team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of cutting‑edge RF communication systems that are fundamental to the performance and success of complex weapons systems. The team operates across multiple UK sites and works collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering groups to deliver high‑performance solutions for the end user.

Ability to manage external suppliers alongside procurement teams
Technical leadership and mentoring of junior engineers
Experience participating in or leading design reviews throughout the product lifecycle
Experience transitioning development hardware into production, including environmental and qualification testing, and design certification
System‑level proving, including software/firmware integration
Familiarity with antenna systems
System‑level RF modelling
Experience with real‑time digital signal processing for high‑bandwidth systems
Understanding of waveform design and implementation
Systems modelling and autocode generation
Experience conducting research using technical publications
Strong communication skills with the ability to produce high‑quality written reports and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
