We are seeking a qualified Revenue Management Controller on a Fixed Term Contract basis who possesses customer selling expertise within the UK FMCG market, who can enhance our department's capabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating pricing, promotional, and trade terms strategies and processes that will empower Weetabix Food Company (WFC) to implement mutually beneficial commercial strategies across all channels and customer base, while also assisting the sales teams in the execution of these strategies. Furthermore, this individual will oversee the strategy and implementation of our customer brand plans.
The Recipe (About the Role) Working closely with the Head of department in Sales, Sales & Commercial Director, Brand representatives, to develop the Weetabix Commercial Strategy
Define the overall Pricing strategy by brand for WFC and be responsible for communicating it to the wider company inc tracking tools
Define the overall Promotional Strategy in all sales channels for WFC and be responsible for communicating it to the wider company inc tracking tools
Responsible for developing and maintaining Pricing, Promotional and Terms strategies, processes and tools
Develop and grow Revenue Management capability amongst the sales team, building out our future capability and learning (such as TPM, TPO, execution models etc)
Champion commercial acumen and knowledge sharing within WFC
Lead and shape the customer brand (Private Label) commercial strategy and execution across WFC
Support the development of the Customer Joint Business Planning process / course correction to ensure plans deliver the budgeted financial targets
Develop the direct reports capability and delivery against objectives
The Ingredients (What we need from you) Key Skills
Leadership, analytical and modelling skills
Experience working as a Customer Controller in FMCG
Experience working in Revenue management in FMCG
Experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders; ability to navigate the business
Experience with using main datasets (e.g. EPOS, shopper data, promotional analysis data, Tableau, TPM tools)
Desirable Skills
Sales and/or Finance capabilities
