Were looking for an experienced manager to oversee fabric-first retrofit projects combining External Wall Insulation (EWI), solar PV installations, and associated structural and brickwork improvements across multiple sites. Based in Newport, youll coordinate programmes of work and manage delivery across Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport, and Ebbw Vale. Youll ensure every project runs safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, residents, and subcontractors. This role suits a professional who can think commercially, communicate clearly, and manage programmes confidently not a jobbing or hands-on site role, but one focused on planning, leadership, and delivery.Key Responsibilities Programme and manage the delivery of retrofit projects across multiple live sitesLead subcontractor teams and ensure compliance with health and safety requirementsOversee EWI, PV, and general fabric improvement works, including brick and structural repairsBuild and maintain relationships with clients, residents, and key stakeholdersUse spreadsheets and digital systems to plan and monitor site progress, budgets, and performanceConduct regular site visits and inspections, ensuring quality, productivity, and complianceSupport commercial and operational teams to meet targets and reporting deadlinesAbout You Proven experience within social housing, retrofit, or planned maintenance environmentsStrong knowledge of EWI, PV, or energy efficiency worksExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsConfident using spreadsheets and digital tools for programming and reportingUnderstanding of structural and brickwork repair processesSMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely and First Aid at Work certifiedOrganised, proactive, and safety-conscious with a right first time approachPAS2035 knowledge desirable, but full training providedWhy Apply This is a rare opportunity to step into a management role that combines leadership, sustainability, and community impact.
