Location: M1 1DB, Manchester, Greater Manchester, North West, UKRetrofit Coordinator - Manchester PAS 2035 | Building Surveying | Consultancy I'm currently working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy that's investing heavily in the growth of its retrofit capability in Manchester. They're now looking to appoint a Retrofit Coordinator who can play a key role in shaping and delivering this service. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to be more than just a box-ticker. You'll be trusted to take ownership of retrofit delivery, influence design decisions, and act as the technical lead on PAS 2035 compliance across projects. The Opportunity You'll be responsible for managing retrofit projects from assessment through to delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and consistency throughout. The role offers a genuine mix of technical work, client interaction, and collaboration with internal and external design teams. There's also a clear opportunity here to help develop processes, contribute to CPD and knowledge sharing, and have a real say in how this service evolves locally. Key ResponsibilitiesLeading PAS 2035 compliance, with a solid understanding of PAS 2030Managing retrofit projects from assessment through to completionReviewing and quality-checking Retrofit Assessments and DesignsAdvising on improvement measures and additional survey requirementsUndertaking desktop analysis and site visits, producing clear technical reportsIdentifying thermal bridges and modelling improvements using SAPWorking closely with design teams and key project stakeholdersAttending project meetings and supporting CPD initiativesContributing to research, marketing, and internal knowledge sharingDelivering a consistently high standard of client careAbout YouBSc (Hons) in Building SurveyingLevel 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk AssessmentLevel 3 Award in Energy Efficiency and Retrofit of Traditional BuildingsStrong technical understanding of retrofit standards and risk assessmentConfident communicator with a professional, client-focused approachComfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlinesDesirableMRICS (Chartered Building Surveyor)Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
