About the Role
As a Retrofit Assessor, you will carry out assessments in line with PAS 2035, supporting the delivery of energy-efficient, low-carbon homes. Youll manage your own workload, conduct site visits, analyse data, and produce detailed technical reports.
Requirements
- Undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035
- Carry out on-site surveys and home visits
- Analyse property data and identify improvement opportunities
- Produce accurate technical reports and documentation
- Manage your own diary and appointments
- Maintain detailed client and project records
- Provide guidance to homeowners on low-carbon solutions
- Support Retrofit Coordinators and wider project delivery
- Ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and confidentiality standards
About You
- Qualified Retrofit Assessor (essential)
- Proven experience in retrofit or energy efficiency projects
- Strong understanding of low-carbon technologies (e.g. insulation, heating systems)
- Ability to measure properties and produce floor plans
- Experience using modelling/software tools (2D/3D)
- Strong xbpsjku analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing ability
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Passionate about sustainability and improving housing standa

Yorkshire & East Midlands (field-based role)
