Job Title: Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor

One of our clients, a leading law firm, is looking for a proactive and client-focused solicitor with a solid background in restructuring (contentious or non-contentious) and insolvency work to join their highly regarded team and work with high profile clients and high value work. In this role, you will manage your own caseload while delivering high-quality legal support and practical solutions for your clients.

The role will involve work across both corporate and personal insolvency processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing guidance and advice to insolvency office holders
• Managing insolvency cases and appointments
• Overseeing the sale of businesses and their assets
• Preparing and handling court-related procedural matters
• Bringing and defending claims connected to insolvency
• Supporting debt restructuring processes (including restructuring plans, CVAs, and negotiations with stakeholders)
• Developing contingency strategies for financially distressed companies
• Advising lenders on reviewing and enforcing security arrangements
• Guiding directors on their legal responsibilities and obligations
• Assisting with Section 110 demergers, MVLs, and the simplification of corporate group structures
• Advising creditors of insolvent companies
