A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our restaurant The Idler located near London Victoria station. We are currently looking for a Floor Manager! The concept Nestled in the heart of London, our location is more than just a restaurant or bar; its a mindset that embraces balance between work and life. Our restaurant will be a place for breakfast and all day dining. The kitchen and bar are working together very closely since there is an open kitchen bar that runs through the restaurant. The restaurant will be serving an all day food menu that consists of creative and high quality dishes to share (or not). The all day dining menu plays tribute with a playful spin on British Classics where dishes are uncomplicated, true to their ingredients and have a real punch on British produce. Next to a restaurant and bar, the location offers three 8 pax meeting rooms and a deli. The Job Were looking for a Floor Manager to help bring our brand-new concept to life someone who leads with energy, creativity, and a hands-on mindset. Youll be responsible for the daily running of the restaurant and bar, making sure service is smooth, the team is motivated, and every guest has a great experience. From training new team members and handling guest feedback to spotting opportunities to improve how we do things, youll play a key role in shaping our culture and operations. This is a rare chance to build something special from the ground up in a place that values personality, purpose, and balance. What we are looking for: Someone who has a passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create brilliant experiences. Loves working with people and helping them grow. Has experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in all-day dining or high-volume restaurants. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Is organised, positive, and calm under pressure (with a good sense of humour). Wants to be part of building something new and exciting. Whats in it for you?
