We are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Floor Manager to support our management team in the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant. This is a key leadership role within our front-of-house operation and a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to take on a new challenge in a respected and successful business.
About the Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive an outstanding dining experience while maintaining our high standards of service, quality, and professionalism. The restaurant is open 7 days a week from midday , therefore evening and weekend availability is essential .
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and interact confidently with our clientele
Lead, manage, and motivate the front-of-house team on a daily basis
Efficiently manage busy footfall during service
Operate EPOS till systems and handle cash and card payments
Daily use of OpenTable reservations, including email and telephone bookings
Support ordering processes (wine, linen, and other supplies)
Organise staff rotas and front-of-house coverage to meet business needs
Act as a key holder for the premises
Cash up and complete end-of-day procedures
Train and support new team members
Handle customer requests and resolve any issues professionally
Liaise closely with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
About You
Minimum 5 years experience in a professional restaurant environment
Proven leadership and team management skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and highly motivated
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills
Confident using reservation and till systems
Passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction
Due to our location, driving is advantageous
