What You Will Do

Lead, mentor, and inspire your team from the front, setting the standard every day
Oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant and deli across all services
Develop your team both professionally and personally, supporting wellbeing and growth
Maintain exceptional service standards across all departments

Manage budgets effectively, setting clear financial targets and motivating the team to achieve them
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety throughout the business
Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, instilling strong values and professionalism from day one

Manage rotas to meet business needs while supporting team wellbeing
Handle customer requests, feedback, and escalations promptly and professionally
Ensure consistent quality control across food, drink, and service
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and elevate the guest experience
Manage comps responsibly, ensuring correct controls are followed
Build a learning culture where achievements are recognised and celebrated
Ensure all new starters complete a structured induction programme
Provide regular feedback, appraisals, and performance management in line with company standards
Support HR matters professionally and confidentially when required Who You Will Be

Experienced at Assistant General Manager level within a busy hospitality business
Committed and accountable, taking ownership and showing initiative in everything you do
Passionately guest-focused, always putting the customer at the heart of decisions
