Job Title: Responsible Individual (RI) – Children’s Residential Care Home Location : Birmingham Responsible for: 2 homes

Salary: Up to £450 per day Working Hours: 1 day per week (approx. 8 hours)

Are you an experienced children’s residential care professional looking to make a meaningful impact with a flexible role? We are seeking a dedicated Responsible Individual (RI) to provide leadership, governance, and oversight for our children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

About the Role: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the children’s home. Ensure full compliance with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards. Support, supervise, and challenge the Registered Manager to drive continuous improvement. Oversee safeguarding arrangements and ensure the welfare of children and young people remains central to all decisions. Conduct governance audits and quality assurance checks, reporting regularly to the provider.
