Job Description

Resourcing Manager – Technology Consulting | London (Hybrid)

Join one of the UK's fastest-growing tech consultancies as a strategic Resourcing Manager. You’ll connect sales, training, and consultant deployment, making sure the right people are matched with the right clients when it matters most.

This role is key to our business. You’ll manage the consultant bench with a focus on keeping everyone billable, actively promote talent to account managers, plan resource needs a few months in advance, and help organise large team deployments on tight schedules. You’ll also guide bootcamp graduates to become confident, client-ready consultants.

If you enjoy working under commercial pressure, can think ahead while getting things done, and want to make a real difference in a people-focused company, this could be the right next step for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the full resourcing lifecycle across graduate consultants, contract hires, and internal recruitment
  • Manage the consultant bench with a strong commercial focus, actively promote talent to account teams, and make sure transitions are smooth so consultants can move from one project to the next without delay.
  • Monitor sales opportunities and forecast against the pipeline to identify future capability gaps
  • Coordinate large team deployments on tight deadlines, and work with the Academy to quickly set up training when needed.
  • Lead senior hires when required, leveraging networks and external relationships
  • Prepare consultants for client interviews, supporting soft-skills development alongside technical leaders
  • Work closely with the Commercial Sales Director as the central intelligence hub for all client requirements
  • Act as a trusted partner to the People Director and wider Leadership team

About You

Essential:

  • 4+ years in internal resourcing or recruitment within IT Consulting, Professional Services, or Managed Servicesenvironments
  • Proven experience working under commercial pressure. You have fulfilled contracts, deployed teams quickly, and succeeded in high-stakes situations.
  • Broad technical knowledge across the full software development lifecycle, including Software Development, DevOps, Testing, Data Engineering, and Cloud—not just one area.
  • Track record of proactive talent marketing and creating opportunities, not just responding to briefs
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. You can influence senior commercial leaders while staying respectful and approachable.
  • You are a strategic planner who naturally looks two to three months ahead.
  • Self-directed and autonomous - you hit the ground running

Bonus:

  • Experience working with training/L&D functions to create upskilling pathways
  • Background in graduate development programmes

Why Join?

  • Work with one of the UK’s most recognised tech talent brands
  • High-impact role with visibility across the organisation
  • Opportunity to shape resource strategy and influence business performance
  • Help launch tech careers for people from diverse backgrounds
  • Clear progression pathway in a fast-growing consultancy
  • Supportive, inclusive and growth-focused culture
