This specialist residential children’s home in Knowsley provides a safe, nurturing, and highly personalised environment for up to five young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or learning disabilities. We are now seeking dedicated, resilient, and child‑centred individuals to join the team.
About the Home
This is a small, highly specialised setting where every young person is truly seen, understood, and supported. The home places great emphasis on:
* Individualised care tailored to each young person’s needs, communication style, and developmental stage
* A robust matching process to ensure the group dynamic remains positive, stable, and supportive
* Ongoing group living assessments to maintain a harmonious environment where all young people can thrive
* A nurturing, structured approach that promotes emotional, social, and intellectual development
The Role
* Build trusting, meaningful relationships with young people
* Support daily routines, emotional regulation, communication, and independence skills
* Work as part of a cohesive, reflective team
* Contribute to a safe, warm, and predictable environment
* Promote positive behaviour through understanding, empathy, and proactive strategies
* Participate in activities, community engagement, and therapeutic approaches
