Flexible Shifts | Weekly Pay | Minimum 25 Hours per WeekWe are currently recruiting Ad-Hoc Residential Support Workers to support children and young people aged 617 across a number of residential services.The homes support young people with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities and complex needs and we are looking for resilient and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in young peoples lives.This is a flexible, ad-hoc role where you can choose shifts that work for you, however applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week.The RoleAs a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the young people in our care feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop independence skills.Your responsibilities will include: Supporting young people with daily routines and independence skills Managing and responding to emotional and behavioural challenges Building strong, therapeutic and trusting relationships Encouraging engagement in music, creative activities and structured routines Maintaining a safe, consistent and nurturing home environment Completing daily logs and contributing to care planningThis role requires resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.You will play a key part in ensuring the needs of each child are met while supporting their personal growth and wellbeingShift PatternsTypical shifts include: 7:30am 11:00pm 10:00pm 8:00am (Waking Night)Shift patterns may vary depending on the service, as we work with multiple residential providers.Requirements Minimum 6 months UK experience working with children or young people in settings such as:Residential careSchoolsYouth workSupported accommodationPrison service Full UK driving licence Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for us to process one) Aged 21 or over due to safeguarding and Ofsted regulations Confident supporting children with challenging behaviour and complex needsWhat We Offer Flexible ad-hoc working Minimum 25 hours per week available Weekly pay every Friday Opportunity to gain experience across multiple services Potential to move into a permanent role if you perform well within our partnered servicesImportant Information No sponsorship available Not suitable for candidates seeking limited hoursIf you are passionate about supporting vulnerable children and making a positive impact, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
