An established and growing law firm is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its busy
property team in Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with 23
years experience to manage their own caseload and develop within a supportive, office-
based environment.
Key Responsibilities
? Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through
to completion
? Handle a variety of transactions including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases,
remortgages, and transfers of equity
? Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure
smooth progression of files
? Conduct title checks, searches, and prepare relevant legal documentation
? Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures
? Provide regular updates to clients and maintain high levels of client care
Requirements
? Minimum 23 years experience in residential conveyancing
? Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
? Strong organisational and time management skills
? Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
? High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
? Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Paralegal/Legal Executive
(preferred but not essential depending on experience)
