Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor/CILEx) - Thornbury We are recruiting a full-time Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEx to join our Residential Conveyancing team in Thornbury. You will be dealing with a range of residential property transactions, including: Sales and purchases Transfers Remortgages We focus on high-quality service over quantity of transactions and do not have a high volume business model. Our team has established connections with local estate agents, and we are therefore looking for someone who is engaged and confident with networking and other marketing/business development activities. The wider Residential Conveyancing team is among the biggest in Bristol, spanning four of our five offices. Our department is highly regarded, and we frequently receive excellent reviews on Google and Review Solicitors. _We may be able to offer this role at our Gloucester Road or Bedminster offices if preferred._ The roleFee-earning work Interviewing clients, taking instructions and keeping detailed file notes. Maintaining file checklists. Reviewing compliance documentation and analysing the source of funds evidence for AML. Assessing the quality of work undertaken. Issuing client care letters. Drafting or considering contract packages. Raising enquiries. Submitting appropriate searches. Drafting title, mortgage and search reports. Acting for mortgage lenders.
