Job Title: Conveyancer (Junior – Senior Level Considered)

Salary: Competitive, DOE

A well-established and reputable law firm is seeking to recruit a Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. The firm is open to considering Junior Conveyancers through to Senior Conveyancers, depending on experience.

The Role:

The successful candidate will manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, working closely with support staff and other fee earners to ensure transactions progress efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
  • Handling a variety of transactions including freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership and Help to Buy
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfers and legal documentation
  • Conducting title checks and reviewing search results
  • Preparing files for exchange of contracts and completion
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
  • Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client service
  • Working collaboratively with conveyancing assistants and the wider property team


Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within residential conveyancing (junior through to senior level considered)
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
