Residential Childcare Worker Middlesbrough £12.21 - £20.88 per hour (depending on shift pattern and location.) We are currently looking to recruit Residential Childcare Workers to work within a range of residential settings across Teesside. Within this role you will be supporting a range of young people that may have learning difficulties, autism and/or emotional behavioural disorders and mental health issues. The younger persons you are supporting may also present different aspects of challenging behaviour and complex health needs. The ideal candidate will possess: Previous experience of working within residential childcare settings. Effective communications in relation to report writing and verbal communication with staff. Awareness of non-verbal communication. A professional and caring nature. The ability to engage with young people in a positive and proactive manner.
