Resettlement and Move On Officer

You will be responsible for helping homeless households move on from temporary accommodation into suitable private rented accommodation by building relationships with landlords and letting agents, negotiating tenancies, and supporting residents through the resettlement process.
Key Responsibilities
Support households to move from temporary accommodation into private rented accommodation.
Work closely with private landlords and letting agents to source suitable properties.
Negotiate rents, deposits, and tenancy terms.
Carry out affordability assessments and ensure properties are suitable and sustainable.
Assist clients with tenancy sign-ups and moving arrangements.
Provide resettlement support to ensure successful tenancy sustainment.
Conduct property viewings where required.
Liaise with Housing Benefit/Universal Credit teams regarding rent and LHA rates.
Maintain accurate case records and meet move-on targets.
Help prevent homelessness by securing private rented sector accommodation.Essential Experience
Experience working in estate agency, lettings, property management, or private sector housing.
Experience working with private landlords and letting agents.
Experience negotiating rents and tenancy agreements.
Understanding of the Private Rented Sector.
Experience working in housing, homelessness, or resettlement (desirable but not essential if strong PRS/estate agency background).If you have the relevant skills then please apply today
