Research Manager – Mixed Methods | Boutique Insight Consultancy Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2 days in office) We’re working with a growing boutique insight consultancy that’s quickly building a name for itself. Off the back of several big wins, including a major automotive brand, they’re looking for a strong mid-level Research Manager to join their close-knit team. This is a great opportunity to join a business with real momentum, low hierarchy, and plenty of room to make an impact. You’ll be working with experienced ex-top-agency researchers in a culture that blends the agility of a start-up with the support of a larger group. The Role You’ll help deliver high-quality insight across ad hoc and tracking studies, with clients in FS, transport, housing, and automotive and other service-led categories. Most projects are Quant & Qual methods and there's room to flex depending on your strengths. They’re looking for someone with great attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for doing great work in a smart, supportive team. Day to Day Manage a variety of insight projects from end to end Client-facing: day-to-day liaison, understanding needs, delivering insight Questionnaire writing, data analysis, charting, report writing Supporting on qualitative elements: depths, communities, discussion guides Contribute to proposals, marketing content, and internal agency initiatives Champion fresh thinking, innovation, and use of technology in research Work closely with senior leadership on key accounts and strategic direction You’ll ideally have: Around 3–4 years’ experience in a research agency Strong Quant & Qual methods ideally or Quant leaning Solid grounding in brand tracking & ad hoc research Curious, commercially aware, and a sharp communicator Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines Experience in sectors like financial services is useful but not required A genuine love of insight and a team-first attitude Why this team?
