Research and Development Chemist An exciting opportunity has arisen at our established construction and materials client based in the Shropshire countryside they are looking for a full time permanent technical manager with a science degree
This is a hands-on laboratory-based position focused on developing and improving eco-friendly building and construction products. You will play a key role in product innovation, formulation development, and technical testing to ensure that all products meet required quality, performance, and sustainability standards.
You will be developing and formulating new products and materials to meet customer and market requirements, improving and optimising existing formulations for performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability, conducting laboratory trials and testing to evaluate raw materials and finished products, you will also be working closely with the technical and production teams to scale up laboratory developments to manufacturing level, recording, analysing, and interpreting test results, maintaining detailed documentation.
In addition, you will be providing technical support to internal teams and occasionally to customers, staying up to date with new materials, technologies, and industry trends.
Ideal Candidate Required
