Repairs and Voids Manager

Purpose of the job:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking and enthusiastic individual to lead the Repairs and Voids Team in a Local Authority client of ours.
This role reports directly to the Housing Asset Manager and is part of our dynamic Housing Asset Leadership Team. The role oversees the delivery of our repair and void function, including the contract management of our key external contractors.
You will lead and deliver a customer focused and high performing repair and void service for our tenants and their homes. At a time of change for the sector, you will be our go to colleague, supported by a team of 6, for delivery on all day-to-day repairs including our response to damp and mould and disrepair.
In this role and across our housing services, no two days are the same! The team has implemented major changes over the last few years, including software updates, process reviews and contract amendments. We need someone to continue that work to improve the service that we offer to our tenants. As a landlord, we take our commitments to our residents seriously and we are focused on continuing to strengthen and improve what we do, and how we do it.
