Join Our Team as Claims IT Leader at Marsh McLennan
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh McLennan as Claims IT Leader. This role will be based in London and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week in the office.
Own the transformation from a project-based to a product-aligned organisational structure and execution.
Develop and operationalise the information technology strategy related to Claims applications, recommending short- and long-term IT goals to business and operations leaders.
Drive the introduction and adoption of OKRs across the IT teams to accelerate the delivery of tech products to market.
Mobilise a well-thought-out programme increment plan to link agile deliverables to business prioritisation and benefits.
Provide expert and strategic advice to members of the Operations & IT senior leadership team on all technology matters affecting the strategic portfolio.
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, leading them to meet or exceed the company's expectations for productivity, quality, and achievement while building innovative, cutting-edge IT solutions.
Create a workplace that aligns with Marsh's diversity and inclusion objectives, fostering a diverse team that emphasises the company's mission, vision, and guiding principles.
maintain the health of the portfolio by implementing the right processes for risk mitigation and problem resolution.
Experience in managing and optimising a global claims platform.
Significant and substantial Agile delivery experience with a global stakeholder management mindset.
Direct Agile delivery experience for large platforms, ideally with low/no-code platforms.
Substantial experience as a senior manager, having managed extensive innovation or IT migration programmes/portfolios.
Proven leadership capabilities in managing large teams, including the development of next-generation IT talent.
Superb programme management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise numerous tasks simultaneously to complete work on time.
Master’s or advanced education in a related field.
Proven experience in managing large-scale Agile delivery for complex platforms.
A track record of driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge IT solutions that enhance business performance.
A passion for coaching and developing IT talent, preparing the next generation of leaders in the industry.
