Were looking for experienced Product Data Scientist to join our Data team in an exciting growth phase to help shape how we do things as we continue to evolve.
As a Product Data Scientist, youll be a key partner and collaborator to teams across Blue Light Card to support them with analytical insight. Leverage quantitative analysis and data storytelling to uncover user behaviour, identify pain points, and inform product strategy with actionable insights

~ Define and align key metrics in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across teams by partnering with engineers and developers

~ Build and maintain self-serve data tools and dashboards that provide quick access to core insights, empowering teams to make data-informed conclusions

~ Maintain the central knowledge base by documenting reports, insights, and metric definitions within the Insights Hub to promote transparency and shared understanding

~ Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and close data or capability gaps, while sharing insights and fostering strong relationships across the business

~ Champion a unified data approach, ensuring consistent use of data sources and definitions, while staying current on analytics best practices and industry trends

Extensive experience working with data in an analytical fashion, preferably in a digitally native tech environment

~ Experience using analytical tools/languages, e.g., SQL, dbt, Python, R, as well as BI suites such as Lightdash, Looker, or Tableau

~ Experience using data storytelling, including presentation skills and the ability to present a convincing, data-led argument for ideas to internal stakeholders and colleagues
