Job Description

Ground Remediation Engineer\n\nWe are seeking a motivated and proactive Ground Remediation Engineer to support the planning and delivery of remediation projects across sites nationwide. This role combines hands-on contaminated land, site work with technical reporting and offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of environmental remediation schemes.\n\nAs a Ground Remediation Engineer, you will work closely with Senior Scientists, Site Managers, and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high technical standard. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys field-based work, problem-solving, and collaborating across technical teams.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nOperate and maintain field equipment for soil and environmental sampling\n\nLog soils accurately and record environmental observations on site\n\nCollect, collate, analyse, and report site-based technical data as directed\n\nSupport the planning and execution of remediation activities on site\n\nLiaise with site visitors, including regulators and other stakeholders\n\nProcure technical consumables and equipment required for site works\n\nParticipate in internal and external project meetings\n\nSupport Site Managers and Project Managers in the delivery of onsite works\n\nAssist with auditing and compliance under the company's Mobile Treatment Permit\n\nEnsure all activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\nWe are looking for a Ground Remediation Engineer with a positive attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and hold a full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel nationwide.\n\nA working knowledge of environmental permitting regulations, site operations, and health and safety practices is essential.
