Remedial Plumber – Ilford
Up to £44,000 + Van + Benefits
A leading water consultancy is seeking a Remedial Plumber to join their team, working on projects across the South-East and Central London. The role will also involve supporting water hygiene tasks as required, ensuring compliance and the fulfilment of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Skill background for the Remedial Plumber role
* Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing
* Full driving license (DBS checked or willing to complete required forms)
* Experience identifying and removing dead legs and redundant pipework to improve water system safety including inserting stabbing points where required.
* Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults, leaks and pressure issues including replacing pipework, valves and fittings where necessary
* Experience in legionella duties such as sampling, monitoring and TMV servicing
* Conducting minor plumbing installations
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider water hygiene or compliance team
The successful Remedial Plumber will have the opportunity to gain additional plumbing qualifications as well as other market knowledge such as Fire and Legionella Risk Assessments and will report into the Contract Manager of the division.
