Relief Store Manager (Multi- Site)

Locations: Bracknell (base), covering Basingstoke, Reading, High Wycombe, with occasional travel to Bristol & Kingston

Salary: Up to £32,500

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday (8:00am–6:00pm) | Weekend rota (1 in 3): Saturdays 10:00am–5:00pm, Sundays 10:00am–4:00pm

A dynamic multi-site role responsible for supporting store performance across several locations. As a Relief Store Manager, you will lead operations, drive sales, and ensure compliance while delivering consistently high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Take full operational responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager
Drive sales performance, manage enquiries, and maximise conversion rates
Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve targets
Ensure compliance with financial, operational, and Health & Safety procedures
Conduct store audits, including quarterly visits to Bristol and Kingston
Monitor store performance, reporting, and local market activity
Maintain high standards of store presentation and operational efficiency
Support ad hoc project work as required
Key Requirements

Proven management experience, with the ability to deputise when required
Strong numerical and analytical skills
High attention to detail, particularly in compliance and audit processes
Commercially aware with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence required; willingness to travel between sites
Must hold business-use vehicle insurance (salary reflects this requirement)
Additional information

Covering primarily stable teams, with focus on sickness and holiday cover
May include a maths and verbal reasoning assessment at interview stage
