Relationship Director – Real Estate Finance | SME Clients


Cambridgeshire, Anglia, Bedfordshire

Hybrid

£100-130K per annum


We’re working with a leading UK banking group that’s looking to strengthen its Real Estate Finance team with the addition of a Relationship Director.


This is a client-facing role focused on managing and developing a portfolio of SME property clients, supporting their growth while driving lending and building long-term partnerships.


The Opportunity


You’ll work with established developers, investors, and property businesses across your region, acting as a trusted partner and helping them access the right funding solutions.

It’s a role that combines relationship management, deal structuring, and business development with the backing of a well-resourced and respected banking brand.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Managing a portfolio of SME real estate clients across your region
  • Building long-term relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Structuring and delivering lending solutions (development & investment finance)
  • Assessing opportunities in line with credit risk and policy
  • Identifying opportunities to grow lending, income, and client base
  • Developing new business through networking and referrals
  • Working closely with credit and internal teams to get deals done
  • Representing the bank within the local property and professional network


What They’re Looking For


  • Experience in real estate finance, commercial banking, or property lending
  • Strong track record in managing and growing client relationships
  • Experience structuring lending deals and working with credit teams
  • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to winning business
  • A network within property or professional services is a strong advantage
