Overview They are now looking for an experienced Reinsurance Accounting Technician to join their City of London operation. Responsibilities

Ensure reinsurance premium and settlement payments are made within contractual obligations. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all payments are made on time. Review and authorise payments, ensuring they align with transactions created in the system. Confirm the necessary authority has been received for reinsurance settlements per approved authorities. Manage all reinsurance transactions initiating settlement and receipt with third parties. Accurately allocate settlements/receipts to reinsurer level within databases. Effectively manage intercompany balances ensuring prompt transfer of funds. Clear unmatched balances and keep amounts to a minimum. Produce regular reinsurance aged debt reports showing unsettled ceded financials at Group and Entity levels by reinsurer. Produce weekly ceded financial summaries of unsettled due payments. Produce regular summary of upcoming payments for treasury's benefit to arrange available funds. Assist with development and testing of software tools through liaison with Business Analytics team.
