Assistant Legal Counsel - Regulatory:

We have partnered with a leading Japanese bank who are seeking a Regulatory Assistant Legal Counsel to support their legal team on an interim basis, for a period of 12 months.

This position requires a candidate to support the organisations strategy in the EMEA region by providing the provision of advice on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.

Duties: Provide legal advice in relation to a broad range of regulatory matters including MIFID, EMIR, GDPR, cross border licensing, competition, investigations/dawn raids and litigation Assist to investigate any identified potential or actual breach of relevant rules and regulations and advise on the legal implications Support the Bank in EMEA on projects which have regulatory issues
