Right Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a nursing home based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a purpose built nursing home specialising in general nursing and dementia care.

The Nursing Home Manager is seeking a confident Nurse who is RGN or RMN qualified to join their nursing team full-time on days.

Contracted hours can be offered at 36 or 48 hours per week; 3 or 4 shifts per week.

Offering a salary range of £36,504 to £48,673 per annum subject to contracted hours.

As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest standards of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members.

Responsibilities include:

* Assessing and planning nursing care requirements.

* Monitoring and administering medication

* Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.

* Writing records.

* Supervising junior staff.

* Organising workloads.

* Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.

* Ensuring effective communication between day and night shifts

* Attending MDT meetings.

The candidate:

* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

* Someone who is passionate about person centred care

* Good leadership skills

* Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN qualified

* Nursing home experience desired but not essential
