Registered Nurse / Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) Right Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a Nursing Home in Walsall. The home specialises in high standards of EMI Nursing and General Nursing care. The Manager is looking for a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) to join the team on nights on a 25 bed EMI Unit; 36 hour contract available. As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members. Responsibilities include: * Assessing and planning nursing care requirements. * Providing pre- and post-operation care. * Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions. * Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures. * Writing records. * Supervising junior staff. * Organising workloads. * Providing emotional support to patients and relatives. * Ensuring effective communication between day and night shifts * Attending MDT meetings.
