Location: Cumbria
Salary: Up to £53,500 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a residential home offering a 28-day response placement with a focus on outdoor activities. The home is dual-registered with Ofsted and AALA and has a strong reputation for achieving excellent outcomes for the children in its care. With high staff retention and a record of Outstanding or Good ratings in all areas, this is a unique opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team.
About the Role:
You will provide effective leadership and management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people. The role requires dedication, proven leadership experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the residential care team to provide exceptional care.
  • Ensure adherence to Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
  • Maintain high standards of care, education, and therapeutic support for children with complex needs.
  • Oversee the smooth running of daily operations and support staff development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Senior Residential Care Worker, Deputy, or Home Manager.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Experience with or understanding of AALA.
  • Full UK manual driving licence and access to personal transport.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and flexible working skills.
