Were looking for a Registered Manager who can build this same warmth and vibrancy to our new Bury service as it opens.What you'll be doingYoull be joining a settled, experienced team including a Deputy, Seniors, and RSWs. Your role is to nurture this team and guide them through the transition of welcoming a new young person into our Blackley home following our last successful placement.Your day-to-day will involve:Compassionate Leadership: Creating a positive, safeguarding-first culture where you act as a supportive role model for both your team and our young people.Operational Nurturing: Ensuring our home remains a high-quality environment that meets all training and safety standardsCollaborative Liaison: Acting as a professional and diplomatic advocate for our children when working with local authorities and social workers.Growth & Mentoring: Overseeing the Blackley home while supporting the launch and future dual-registration of our Bury service as a Registered Manager.Your Experience and QualificationsEssential:The Background: Proven management experience within residential childrens care.Technical Skills: Confident using Microsoft packages with a good eye for the financial side of running a home.Qualifications: You hold a Level 5 Diploma (or youre currently working towards it with our full support)The Personality: Youre a warm, proactive team player who can nurture your staff and maintain high aspirations for the children in our care.Logistics: A full UK Driving Licence is essential.Desirable:A proven track record of Good Ofsted ratings as a manager.Experience in 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 solo environments.A supportive understanding of DOLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards).Your Package and PerksSalary: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (with flexibility for on-call when needed).Perks: Access to a pool car, a comprehensive EAP, and a recognition scheme for our top performers.Our Interview Process We want our recruitment process to be as welcoming and transparent as possible:Apply: Submit your CV for review.Screening: A friendly call to discuss your experience and our philosophy.Interview: A face-to-face meeting with our RI and Directors.Offer: A conditional hiring decision, subject to DBS and reference checks.How to Apply If you're ready to lead with heart and purpose as our next Registered Manager in Blackley and Bury, we'd love to hear from you.
