Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care \nLocation: Manchester, UK \nSalary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)\n\nAbout the Role \nAn established domiciliary care provider in Manchester is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our care team and oversee the safe, effective, and person-centred delivery of home care services. \nThe ideal candidate will be a motivated and compassionate leader with strong knowledge of CQC standards and a proven ability to manage and grow a high-quality care service.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service in line with CQC regulations.\nProvide leadership, supervision, and support to care coordinators and field staff.\nOversee care assessments, support plans, and quality assurance systems.\nEnsure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.\nMaintain strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and external partners.\nLead on recruitment, training, and development of the care team.\nDrive continuous improvement and promote a culture of excellence in care delivery.\nRequirements\n\nNVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – essential.\nFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential.\nExperience as a Deputy Manager (minimum) within domiciliary or community care – essential.\nSound understanding of CQC requirements and care governance.\nStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.\nA genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.\nDesirable\n\nPrevious experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care.\nExperience managing CQC inspections or improving service ratings.\nKnowledge of local commissioning processes and care management systems.\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.\nSupportive leadership team and opportunities for professional development.\nA rewarding role making a real difference in people’s lives.\nIf you are an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up or an established Registered Manager seeking a confidential move to a supportive and high-quality provider, I’d love to hear from you.
