Are you an experienced leader in children’s residential care with a genuine passion for transforming young lives? Looking to step into a rewarding role with a high-quality, well-supported provider—without the red tape of large corporates or the instability of under-resourced start-ups?
We’re working with an established and respected provider of specialist services, known for delivering therapeutic, person-centred care. The home is a 3-bedroom OFSTED registered home for children and young people with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism—and they’re looking for a compassionate and strategic Registered Manager to lead the way.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll lead from the front—ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and a nurturing environment where young people can build resilience and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring a skilled, multidisciplinary team
* Developing individualised care plans in partnership with professionals
* Creating a therapeutic, safe, and emotionally secure home
* Managing resources, rotas, budgets, and OFSTED compliance
* Driving quality improvement and safeguarding best practice
About You:
You’ll be a motivated leader with:
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
* Proven experience managing children’s homes (ideally therapeutic settings)
* Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regs, OFSTED & safeguarding
* Experience supporting children with LD, Autism, and complex needs
* A commitment to building positive, lasting outcomes for vulnerable children
What’s on Offer:
* Autonomy to manage your team and drive best practice
* Supportive leadership, excellent infrastructure, and real progression
* A competitive salary + scope to grow into multi-home or operational roles
