You will lead and develop your team, ensure high-quality, person-centred support delivery, maintain regulatory compliance and create an environment where young people can thrive and progress toward greater independence.You will play a key role within the wider management structure, driving quality, safeguarding standards and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesHold registration and legal accountability for the serviceLead, manage and develop the staff teamEnsure high-quality support in line with individual placement plans and Positive Behaviour Support PlansPromote independence, life skills and community integrationOversee admissions, compatibility assessments and transition planningMaintain accurate records and high standards of documentationWork in partnership with families, Social Workers, health professionals and other stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworksManage budgets and oversee financial systems effectivelyImplement robust supervision, appraisal and training systemsMaintain high safeguarding and health & safety standardsParticipate in senior on-call arrangementsDrive continuous improvement across the serviceWhat Were Looking ForPrevious experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step upStrong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safeguarding legislationProven leadership and staff management experienceExperience supporting young people with learning disabilities and autismUnderstanding of Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed practiceExperience managing budgets and resourcesExcellent communication and partnership-working skillsA commitment to achieving positive outcomes and promoting independenceWhats on OfferCompetitive salary of £47,008 £58,240Opportunity to lead and shape a Residential HomeSupportive senior management structureOngoing professional developmentThe chance to make a lasting impact on young peoples livesIf you are an experienced leader ready to drive excellence within a specialist Learning Difficulties service and support young people to achieve meaningful independence, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
