Registered Manager - Children's Residential
Location: Carmarthenshire
Salary: Up to £47,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a new four-bedroom children's residential home within an established service. The home supports young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including those who may display challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing environment and building strong, trust-based relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the home's operations in line with regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop a skilled staff team
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and care standards
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and key working programmes
  • Promote engagement with education and support young people to achieve their aspirations
  • Foster a culture of trust, fairness, and safety

Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Health & Social Care
  • Previous management experience in a children's residential setting
  • Experience with PBS and managing challenging behaviour
  • Full UK Driving Licence
